We are thrilled to announce that the Colorado Springs Society for Human Resource Management will host SHRM's new CEO, Johnny C. Taylor, in Colorado Springs on July 28, 2018.
Please join us as we host Johnny C. Taylor, Jr, SHRM-SCP, for an HR Town Hall, in which Johnny will share insights into the future of HR and SHRM, discuss HR trends, as well as answer your questions.
This event will be held in the Kettle Creek room at the Roaring Fork building located on the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs campus on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 10am-12pm.
Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, is President and Chief Executive Officer of SHRM. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Miami, a Master’s degree in Mass Communications, and a Law Degree from Drake University. He was the Senior VP of HR for IAC/InterActive Corp, a litigation partner and president of the HR consulting group for the law firm McGuireWoods, General Counsel and Senior VP of HR for Viacom’s Paramount Pictures Live Entertainment Group, and Associate General Counsel and VP of HR for Blockbuster Entertainment Group.
He currently serves on the corporate board of Gallup and the Board of Trustees of the University of Miami. He is an adviser to Safe Streets & Second Chance, a board member of Jobs for America’s Graduates, and is a member of the Board of Governors for the American Red Cross. In a 2018 White House ceremony, President Trump appointed Mr. Taylor Chairman of the President’s Advisory Board on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
