    #2 –  Gain insight into key global business drivers and identify at least 1 that is critical to your particular organization

    #3 –  Learn how to monetize at least 1 HR outcome desired by your organization that is not easily translated into dollars and cents

    #4 –  Create a Business Case outline for a current HR initiative or objective

Her career as a senior HR leader with start-up and growth companies has focused on organizational development; culture and values; corporate and employment branding; strategic and workforce planning; recruiting, motivating, and retaining top talent; coaching, employee relations and engagement; performance, learning and development; compensation, benefits and equity programs; HR systems and implementation; employment law; M&A and HR due diligence.

    She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, Marketing & Organizational Behavior from Loyola University in Maryland and a Master of Education in Organizational Performance & Change from Colorado State University. Debi earned her PHR in 1997; SPHR in 2001; SPHRi and SHRM-CP & SCP in 2018; GPHR and PHRca in 2020.

    Debi has instructed, coached, and mentored more than 2,000 HR colleagues since 2004 in her PHR/SPHR Certification Prep Courses at Colorado State University, Regis University, the University of Denver, and HR Cert Prep Pros. Her courses have consistently achieved student pass rates of 80-100%. In 2017, she founded HR Cert Prep Pros to bring her passion for teaching, certification, coaching, and mentoring to a broader audience of aspiring HR professionals and HR certification prep course instructors and sponsoring organizations.
