    Staying up to date and in compliance with your employee record keeping is no joke!

    • How long should you keep an application?
    • Do I need to save the I-9? Should I make copies of their social security card?
    • Can I dispose of their performance reviews when they leave?
    • Can I put everything in one file as long as I have it locked up?
    • How long should I hold on to FMLA paperwork?

    In an effort to help provide information and resources to our members, we are bringing you a round table discussion on recordkeeping.

    Join us on Wednesday, April 1 for information on what you need to keep, how long you need to keep it, and when/how you can dispose of it. This roundtable will be led by Renée Smit, Med, SPHR, SHRM-SCP and she will provide information and then answer your questions.

    Renée Smit is a seasoned HR/OD consultant with over 20+ years of experience in partnering with executives to drive best practice solutions for organizational effectiveness.  Her work includes an emphasis on strategic planning, leadership coaching, policy, process, and systems design, learning and development, performance improvement, employee relations, and human resource management. Renée has a Master of Education in organizational development from Colorado State University and holds SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.
