    In this session, we will discuss the changing recruitment industry and the best practices to stay ahead of the curve with candidate sourcing, engagement and industry trends.  We will provide relevant information on candidate engagement, personalization in recruitment messaging, sourcing tools and resources, competitive intelligence resources, and recruitment acumen resources.  We will spend time navigating the new Linked In interface and provide tips and tricks for searching on Linked In now that the advanced search is no longer available.  We will also introduce you to relevant selection tools and best practices in the industry.  In this session, you will:  

    1.     Understand the top tools and resources for candidate engagement (social media, personalization, candidate experience) 

    2.     Learn about tools and resources to become an industry expert in the field you are recruiting for, along with top recruitment industry resources to stay relevant

    3.     Become familiar with relevant tools and resources to help you become more efficient in candidate sourcing

    4.     Gain knowledge of relevant recruitment and selection tools 

     With today’s changing labor market, attracting top talent to any organization is getting more and more difficult.  It is critical to implement the right recruitment and selection strategies to attract the best candidates for long –term organizational success. 

    Speaker information:

    Ella Arroyo, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

    Mrs. Arroyo has a strong passion for the HR profession.  She has been in the field for over 11 years, 10 of those years in recruitment.  She has worked for Target Corporation for 11 years and has progressed in the organization from Stores HR to Campus Recruiting to Healthcare Recruiting.  She currently focuses on Stores Leadership recruiting for the Texas region. She has created and led numerous company-wide trainings for business leaders, HR managers and recruiters to learn top recruitment strategies and best practices.  She holds a B.A. in Organizational Studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan, and a M.A. in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University.

    Jonathan Liepe, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

    Mr Liepe offers nearly 20 years of experience creating best practice recruiting methods using LEAN principles to reduce overall operating costs while improving overall candidate experience and employment brand.  Possessing a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development, he is well-versed and trained in the use of psychometric principles related to selection system design.  Jonathan has created employer advertising strategies maximizing use of social media and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to drive internet search traffic directly to corporate careers pages, leading applicant tracking system design efforts, and has been directly involved as the lead recruiter for hard-to-fill and executive leadership positions.
